About Us

The people behind
the Odyssey.

Hellenic STEM Odyssey is driven by a vision to reconnect modern education with the ideas that shaped science, engineering, and critical thinking.

Our mission

To bring Ancient Greek knowledge into modern classrooms through hands-on STEM education — connecting students across the world with ideas that remain relevant today.

Why this program exists

The roots of modern science are older than the lab.

Many of the foundational ideas in mathematics, physics, astronomy, and engineering originate in Ancient Greece — from the geometry of Euclid to the mechanics of Archimedes.

The Odyssey exists to make those ideas accessible, engaging, and experiential for today's students — not as history, but as living tools for thinking, building, and questioning.

What drives us

Four principles,
one compass.

  • 01

Connecting past knowledge with future skills

We trace a line from ancient inquiry to the engineering practices students need today.

  • 02

    Making STEM learning experiential

Every idea becomes something to build, test, and code — never only something to read.

  • 03

    Building global classroom connections

Schools across continents share the same lesson, the same kit, the same questions.

  • 04

    Encouraging curiosity and creativity

We design for the moment a student stops following instructions and starts asking why.

A global journey of learning

Not a program — a network of curiosity in motion.

The Odyssey is a growing network of schools, students, and educators exploring how knowledge travels across time and place.
